Things like yoga for the more spiritual, or gardening for the green savvy, or dance for the more artistic. I wish our teachers provided more of this guidance instead of acting as "babysitters".Garicknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4591094694154828175.post-56297927752806406502010-11-28T13:38:41.607-07:002010-11-28T13:38:41.607-07:00We agree with you Tricia about the whole concept n...We agree with you Tricia about the whole concept needing to change. In our next post on this subject we are going to explore some possibilities of making P.E approachable and a better experience for all. Not just the ones who are already in shape or are athletically inclined.Band Geeks Go To Fat Camp!https://www.blogger.com/profile/13472027744793515755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4591094694154828175.post-83451362420961815852010-11-27T09:21:12.294-07:002010-11-27T09:21:12.294-07:00I was not a heavy kid in school, but totally inep...I was not a heavy kid in school, but totally inept at anything that involved a ball of any kind! I hated PE - I mean dreaded it every day! I hated dressing out and always hid or waited for everyone else to leave the locker room to change in and out of PE clothes. Shy with a total lack of confidence in anything except class work! This whole story just makes me shudder!

I can't believe they still teach PE this way! Do they really? The whole concept needs to change - drastically!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07518856879149110397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4591094694154828175.post-32904781323154167612010-11-26T21:22:15.144-07:002010-11-26T21:22:15.144-07:00Great post guys!
